Thoughts, stories, ideas, recipes, cheers, and more... What else did you think you would get for a $1 tip?

For those of you looking for something on the more sophisticated side you have my apologies. This blog unfortunately mirrors the author (yours truly.) Some of the humor is not for everyone but I liked it and it's my blog so there! My patrons sometimes ask me where I come up with some of this stuff. I am glad to tell them my mind is a lot like Canada. It is sometimes a bit cold, there are a few dark corners, some of it down right confusing and even a bit dirty but there is also a lot of neat stuff up there. So I hope you all enjoy this blog! ... Cheers!

Maine Maple Sugar Weekend

This weekend up here in hee-haw-hell we have the Maine Maple Sugar Weekend. This weekend is where all the maple sugar farms open their gates to all you city slickers in your new L.L. Bean Plaid and New York license plates and come pet the sheep, lamas and feed the goats and see how maple sugar is made. Make no mistake about it just like we do in the fall when the "leaf peepers" come out to see all the pretty colors of the dead leaves anyone from Maine or NH driving behind you is cursing you out for f-ing up our traffic. Not to worry though we will always take your money no matter how rude you are even if you are wearing a Yankees hat.

All this aside this is a great time to have with the family and learn all about the maple sugar industry. I figure it might be a good idea to play along with the chamber of commerce and have a few maple ideas tossed into the mix. Cheers!
