Thoughts, stories, ideas, recipes, cheers, and more... What else did you think you would get for a $1 tip?
For those of you looking for something on the more sophisticated side you have my apologies. This blog unfortunately mirrors the author (yours truly.) Some of the humor is not for everyone but I liked it and it's my blog so there! My patrons sometimes ask me where I come up with some of this stuff. I am glad to tell them my mind is a lot like Canada. It is sometimes a bit cold, there are a few dark corners, some of it down right confusing and even a bit dirty but there is also a lot of neat stuff up there. So I hope you all enjoy this blog! ... Cheers!

A Taste of Maine
Maine has so many great qualities I have been coming up here for a few years now. I liken Maine to your attic it is a little cold and a lot of dark corners but people forget just how much cool stuff is up there! The people are friendly and laid back for the most part and the whole there is a really cool vibe all the way up the coast. If you haven't been up to this gem to the north you must check it out! I mean there is nothing like a Maine lobster and the blueberries are right up there too. So here are a couple drinks inspired by the Maine beaches...
Maine Blueberry Pie Martini
2 oz. Blueberry Stoli
1/2 oz Goldschlager
1/2 oz Frangelico
Shake with ice and strain into a martini glass
Splash with Chambord
Rim the glass with cinnamon sugar
garnish with a lemon wedge and spear of blueberries.
Lobster Claw
1 oz Light Rum
1 oz Dark Rum
1 oz Brandy
1 oz OJ
1/2 oz Lime Juice
Shake and splash with Cointreau
